Clay County is bustling with a lot of new development. As residents continue to move to Florida in droves, the area will continue to expand and thousands of homes and businesses are in the planning stages. OakLeaf Plantation is one new development with plans for a shopping mall, athletic fields, semi-private golf course, five new schools and more. Other new communities include Briar Oaks and Spencers Plantation.
With new developments comes new transportation planning, and new highways are being built to handle the increase of traffic in the area. These new roadways provide better access to nearby towns and easier commutes for residents. Despite the growth of the area, there are still plenty of rural areas to enjoy like Gold Head Branch State Park, Jennings Forest, Black Creek and Ravines Conversation area and more.
St. John County is also growing with new communities. Nocatee is a town located near the Atlantic Ocean between Duvall and St. Johns county lines. This massive real estate development will take place over the next 20 years and will include thousands of residential properties, schools, golf courses and commercial areas. Nocatee is a smart way to invest in real estate, whether it’s in a home or in a business. There is something here to suit every lifestyle and budget.
