NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PETITION TO AMEND THE BOUNDARY OF THE CROSSINGS AT FLEMING ISLAND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT
A Public hearing, conducted pursuant to Chapters 120 and 190, Florida Statutes, by an Administrative Law Judge, from the State of Florida Division of Administrative Hearings, will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2008, at the Eagle harbor Golf club, 2217 Eagle Harbor Parkway, Florida Room, Orange Park, Florida 32003, commencing at 11:00 a.m. or as soon thereafter as can be hard, to inform the public about the elements of the Petition to Amend the Boundary of the Crossings at Fleming Island Community Development District (the “District”) located within unincorporated Clay County, Florida. The petition was filed by the District as Petitioner. The information presented at the hearing will be used by the Florida Land and Water Adjudicatory Commission (“FLWAC”) in granting or denying the Petition as set forth in section 190.046, Florida Statutes, and also to afford Petitioner, affected units of local government and the general public a fair and adequate opportunity to present oral and written comments relative to the amendment of the boundaries of the District.
The acreage to be added to the District consists of approximately 20.7 acres. The District has the appropriate consents to the amendment of the District’s boundaries as required by Chapter 190, Florida Statutes. A Map generally showing the District and the area to be added to the District is set forth below. The parcels to be added to the District are more particularly described as follows: ….
….G) Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, and 28, Tracts A and B and Fairway Ridge Drive, Fairway Ridge at Eagle harbor, according to the plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 48, Page 62, of the Public Records of Clay County, Florida, being 7.10 acres, more or less, in area.
